Product Description
The working principle of the Oval Gear Flowmeter is based on the principle of a volumetric flowmeter, which measures the volume of the fluid through a pair of meshing elliptical gears. When the measured liquid enters the flowmeter's pipeline, the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet drives the elliptical gear to rotate continuously, continuously transporting the liquid to the outlet. The product of the number of revolutions of the elliptical gear and the displacement per time is the total flow rate of the measured liquid.
High-precision measurement: The oval gear flowmeter has high metering accuracy and is suitable for flow measurement of high-viscosity media. The greater the viscosity, the smaller the leakage error and the more accurate the measurement.
Wide range of application: It is suitable for flow measurement in industrial sectors such as chemical, petroleum, medicine, electricity, metallurgy and food. It can be made of different materials (such as cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel, etc.) to adapt to different working environments.
Not suitable for fluids containing solid particles: Since solid particles may get stuck in the gears, resulting in failure to measure normally, it is not suitable for fluids containing solid particles.
